You will be one our warehouse leaders, and you will manage a high performing and diverse team. Providing guidance / direction to the operational and functional areas, fostering an environment of proactive and continuous improvement.
You will sponsor an environment of Safety, Quality, People Development and CI, developing and maintaining warehouse SOP's in line with ISO13485 and ISO14001.
Achieving the department’s yearly financial objectives, through planning, directing, controlling, implementing, evaluating, monitoring and forecasting as needed to achieve budgets.
Proactively support & drive Continues Improvement & Operational Excellence across functions and departments in line with ISO13485 and Lean principles.
Implementing best practice procedures and processes to meet / exceed goals and objectives related to customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, efficiency and budget.
Champions a positive employee environment by promoting open communication, engagement and development of quality teams.
You will build and develop talent within the function and site. Support and mentor other team members as required and participate in talent review process outside of own area
You will oversight and you will have the responsibility to ensure operation units maintains adherence to all KPI’s (Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and People Development). Continuously monitors and takes part in local and global forums to assess opportunities for improvement.
With global alignment, you will ensure that necessary capacity is in place across the network to meet our Customers’ Demands.
You will support standardizing approaches and practices across Operations
Your background :Graduate degree; a post-graduate qualification in engineering or operations is required.
10 years of experience preferred, minimum 6 years’ experience in postponement (value added services) and/or technical services or operations, and a minimum of three years people management are required.
Strong understanding of postponement and operations in terms of set-up, capacity planning and optimization.
Extensive knowledge of postponement, and related warehouse management systems & processes.
Experience of working in the Medical Devices industry (ISO13485) would be a plus.
Proven track record in Lean / 6 Sigma.
Fluent in English; both verbally and written. (Dutch is a plus but not mandatory).
Travel Percentage: 10%
