Compensation Range

Hourly: $20.90 - $24.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

As part of the Consumer Loan Servicing team, you’ll provide back-office operations support for a variety of specialty lending products. Consumer Loan Servicing Representatives remove roadblocks and complete operational tasks that allow Commerce to meet the customer’s lending needs. Operational tasks performed by Consumer Loan Servicing Representatives include loan document preparation, loan processing, booking, and research. If you are a detail-oriented person with the ability to work quickly and accurately, this is the team for you!  

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to provide support to a variety of specialty lending products.

Essential Functions

Monitor all required collateral documentation for Private Banking

Create, execute and analyze reports used for tracking and reporting in Booking, Collateral and Paid Loan departments

Continuously research and keep a pulse on best practices and share ideas with leadership

Assist manager with systems testing

Lead medium to large projects

Ensure procedure documents are kept up-to-date and accurate as well as manage the Disaster Recovery plans

Partner with management to design and implement new initiatives

Mentor team members

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong understanding of the consumer loan servicing line of business and systems, including best practices

Ability to fully understand the Commerce Bank Reconciliation Policy

Basic administrative skills for all Finance systems. ( T-Recs, CPA, Workday)

Ability to create and lead presentations

Informal leadership skills with desire and ability to mentor team members

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Strong level proficiency with Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Outlook

Intermediate level proficiency of loan servicing systems; for example, Shaw, Origenate, Temenos, etc.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required

3+ years banking, financial services or related experience required

3+ year of experience with auto titling, or consumer loan documentation required

LaserPro experience preferred

1+ year(s) experience working with non-real estate lending documentation preferred

**Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 days per week
