This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee finance and accounting functions and drive financial performance optimization for a large factory or manufacturing site. Each day, you will act as the senior finance business partner to the factory manager and support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data. You will also showcase your expertise by driving definition and implementation of standards and business guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in the financial control process.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics business. Main stakeholders are ABB Robotics CFO and ABB Robotics Head of Operations.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Leading the definition of the finance strategy for respective factory/manufacturing sites and advising the factory/site management on action plans to continuously improve performance .

Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency, with special focus on product/business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis/inventory analysis, etc.

Establishing and overseeing processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.

Ensuring the quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.

Qualifications for the role:

You have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role;

You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and thrive through cooperation and reciprocal support;

You have outstanding analytical skills combined with strong communication and curiosity. You know how to steer operations towards excellence.

Possess an enhanced knowledge of business controlling and able to learn market dynamics fast;

You are passionate about excellence, analytics and team work;

You are at ease communicating to senior stakeholders providing the required information to further improve business performance. At the same time you know how to communicate and collaborate with colleagues on the shop floor.

Experience in similar senior roles are appreciated.
