The Senior Operations Executive to oversee and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations at our Welisara facility in Sri Lanka. The role demands strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to lead teams to ensure smooth workflows, compliance, and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will support continuous improvement efforts while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch processes.Supervise and guide operations teams, including warehouse staff and shift supervisors, to ensure productivity.Monitor inventory levels, ensure system accuracy, and support periodic stock counts.Review and analyze operational KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.Support the implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard operating procedures.Plan and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts and operations.Handle day-to-day issue resolution, escalating critical matters to the Operations Manager when needed.Train and mentor junior team members to enhance skill development and team engagement.Assist in resource planning, shift scheduling, and ensuring adequate manpower during peak operations.
