**The Opportunity**
The primary role of the Senior Operational Excellence Lead is to drive CMI’s BU operational excellence strategies that help the organization understand the importance of metrics measurements and the impact of operational performance. To help drive visual management, understand data, and engage our employees on the techniques, tools and philosophies of lean management.
**What You'll Do**
+ Actively support OpEx strategy at CMI BU
+ Implement process improvements using various methodologies (DMAIC, lean manufacturing, etc.).
+ Build strong relationships with internal and external team members.
+ Lead and execute process improvement projects using OpEx tools and techniques
+ Assist in working with offshore business intelligence unit to design and implement analytical solutions
+ Assist the organization in the knowledge and understanding of metrics and measurements which impact performance
+ Assist in leading Kaizen events across sites
+ Ensure project metrics and timelines are reported via appropriate systems in a timely manner
+ Work with site operations and different levels of subject matter experts and leaders to advance project and continuous improvement goals
**Required Qualifications**
+ Minimum Associate degree in Business operations/Engineering. 3-5 years working knowledge of improvement tools and methodologies.
+ Adaptable and willing to take on multiple new tasks and responsibilities.
+ Independent collaborative self-starter with the ability to make appropriate quality-related decisions in real time.
+ Process orientated, logical, analytical, meticulous, highly organized and able to analyze data & implement solutions.
+ Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment while satisfying individual responsibilities and objectives.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Project management and team leadership experience
+ 4 plus years of demonstrated success in applying continuous improvement lean/six sigma tools and project management tools and methodology
+ Highly motivated process thinker that drives customer focused solutions
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing projects within deadlines
+ Experience analyzing and using data to make data driven decisions
The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
