As a Controllership Senior Associate supporting the Financial Reporting & Accounting (FRA) team in our AGS Mexico Shared Services Center, you will be trusted to manage statutory accounting and reporting processes across Latin America.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Managing statutory accounting activities and ensuring compliance with both local GAAP and IFRS. Leading balance sheet reviews and reconciling IFRS vs. local standards differences.Acting as the primary liaison with external auditors for the timely issuance of statutory financial statements.Supporting transfer pricing reviews and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance internal controls, support SOX requirements, and standardize reporting processes.
 WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred).5+ years of experience in statutory accounting and financial reporting.Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP; audit experience is a plus.Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).Intermediate English proficiency (written, spoken, reading).Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
