Senior NonStop Systems Engineer

About your role: 
In this critical role you will Lead Guardian OS, Network, and other major software release planning and implementation.  You will be instrumental in configuring, planning, and managing implementation of system hardware upgrades and function as a technical lead on larger projects while planning projects and implementations.
 

What you’ll do:

Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the NonStop systems including client related connectivity, application, and platform issuesEstablish and implement auditing standards and present evidence to the auditors (internal and external) for PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessmentsWork with business leaders to provide support, advice, and guidance on the correct application of a products/technology solutionsPerform Tier 3 Security functions such as build and support Nonstop security infrastructureProvide troubleshooting support to level 1 & level 2 support groupsInstalling, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading NonStop systems including operating systems and applications using Guardian, Safeguard, NS Java, NS7X (X-Series), XP7 Storage, EMC Data Domain, Comforte, XYPRO security suites, Gravic, Shadowbase, MQ, Control-M, Prognosis, NCI-Control & CompareCollect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports

 Experience you’ll need to have: 

6+ years of NonStop systems engineering experience in an enterprise environment with Guardian OS as it relates to network and software release planningBachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience

Experience that would be great to have:

Strong knowledge of Guardian operating system, system utilities (TACL, MEASURE, TMF), and NonStop software and utilitiesExperience with TCP/IP networking and security protocolsExperience with tools like Splunk, Prognosis, and Moogsoft is often preferredKnowledge of relevant compliance standards (e.g. PCI, FFIEC, SOC) is preferred

Salary Range

$96,400.00 - $162,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
