We are looking for a dedicated Senior Operations Executive like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Senior Operating Executive – Non-Acute Operations and GPO Strategy (PRN) serves as a trusted strategic advisor to the CFO of GPO Operations, providing insight across all aspects of the AdvantageTrust business unit and HealthTrust’s non-acute membership. The role’s primary purpose is to ensure a smooth transition of AdvantageTrust to new leadership and to provide consultative services as required. The services may include strategy and planning to drive scalable growth, business unit optimization, and long-term value creation through strategy execution, operational excellence, and corporate development initiatives including the development and support of acquisition and divestiture strategies. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced P&L leader with deep expertise in non-acute healthcare supply chain and GPO operations, a strong commercial mindset, and a record of guiding transformation in complex, matrixed environments. **What you will do in this role includes:** **Transition Support** + Provide leadership continuity during periods of executive transition or organizational change. + Assist in onboarding and orientation of new AdvantageTrust leadership through strategic briefings, organizational context, and key personnel assessments. + Contribute to the annual budget and planning process, working with the AdvantageTrust leadership team to ensure alignment between strategy and revenue forecasts. + Advise on retention of key personnel and support knowledge transfer in support of change management requirements. Strategic & Executive Advisory + Serve as a key strategic thought partner to the CFO and senior leadership on enterprise-wide initiatives, including growth planning, business model optimization, and investment prioritization. + Guide or support the development of strategic plans and performance frameworks across the enterprise, AdvantageTrust and non-acute operations. + Provide insight and recommendations on scaling capabilities, organizational alignment, and execution readiness across functions. + Support and participate in bi-annual strategic planning process to include development and support of individual business unit success. Corporate Development & Portfolio Strategy + Lead the identification and evaluation of strategic acquisition and divestiture opportunities; develop target lists and provide market landscape assessments. + Participate in acquisition due diligence and develop post-close integration plans, schedules, and resource needs. + Support business model realignment by conducting analysis and recommending strategic divestiture options as required to optimize the HealthTrust portfolio. + Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product & Technology and Operations to ensure understanding and cohesive execution of corporate development initiatives. Other Responsibilities + Promote a culture of accountability, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration. + Ensure institutional knowledge and historical context are captured and leveraged to inform decisions. + Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with organizational strategy and executive direction. + Adhere to the organization’s “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.” **What qualifications you will need for this role:** + Master’s degree from an accredited university required. Systems/industrial engineering, technology related, healthcare or healthcare administration, strategy and leadership degrees or focuses preferred. + Minimum of 15 years’ experience in non-acute healthcare group purchasing and supply chain operations. + Proven full P&L responsibility, with expertise in financial analysis, strategic investment evaluation, and resource planning. + Demonstrated success in driving growth, leading acquisitions/divestitures, and optimizing organizational performance. + Deep understanding of provider-side technology ecosystems including CRM, ERP, P2P, EHR, and Practice Management. + Prior experience working with large health systems and non-acute-focused IDNs, with insight into their unique sourcing and clinical integration needs In today's challenging business environment of cost pressures, supply disruptions, and workforce shortages, it is crucial for providers to efficiently manage expenses and enhance performance.
