The CX Lab organization is responsible for delivering the Cisco Customer Experience support organization with world-class labs. Our global organization strives to exemplify operational excellence while delivering best-in-class service delivery and solutions. We are constantly striving to optimize and accelerate Cisco's lab investment, through automation and virtualization to support capability globally. 

Your Impact

You are a self-starting, collaborative individual that focuses on delivering reliable and secure solutions. You will be responsible for working on implementations of new architecture as well as operating and maintaining currently offered solutions. You will provide continuous feedback to the architecture team through our collaborative tools on our production solutions. Develop automation workflows to streamline the deployment of solutions. You will partner with internal technical leaders to develop and drive solutions for complex issues, while minimizing downtime and impact to our users.

· Design and build network solutions

· Ensure network infrastructure is up and running with high availability

· Configuration and Support for labs’ network infrastructure – IOS-XE, IOS-XR, FTD, NX- OS, and ISE

· Provide support to users for network-related issues

· Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support

Minimum Qualifications

· Enterprise, Data Center, or Security Support Experience (5 plus years) or Bachelors in a technical field (CS/EE/CompE preferred) equivalent to match 5 plus years of experience

· Routing & Switching and/or Security background – Cisco experience preferred – Example: Platform knowledge (IOS-XE) (FTD) (IOS-XR)

· Ability to understand and write simple scripts (bash, perl, python)

· Knowledge of WireShark and the ability to analyze traffic flows to properly root cause network and/or application issues

· You hold a CCNP or equivalent level of demonstrated networking knowledge in Route/Switch, Security, or Service Provider focus

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience leading technical engagements focusing on IT infrastructure or security, policy compliance, and customer satisfaction.

· Demonstrated ability to communicate complex business and technical use cases to an audience with diverse technical backgrounds effectively.

· Experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority to drive compliance and security outcomes. 

· Experience in using distributed version control systems like Git

· Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and Vagrant etc.
