**Overview** **How You’ll Make an Impact** As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll play a meaningful role in crafting and supporting Epsilon’s global network infrastructure by designing, implementing, and fixing sophisticated solutions across multiple datacenters and cloud environments. You will work closely with vendors and internal collaborators to maintain high standards. **What You’ll Achieve** + Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of network services, tools, and infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. + Engineer scalable, automated network solutions using Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, AWS, GCP, and Azure, with a focus on hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. + Build and maintain infrastructure as code using DevOps tools like Puppet and Terraform, ensuring configuration consistency and preventing drift. + Develop and manage Network DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, provisioning, and monitoring. + Automate configuration and management tasks using scripting languages and tools. + Collaborate with SRE and security teams to ensure secure, compliant, and up-to-date cloud infrastructure. + Resolve complex network issues across LAN, WAN, Cloud, Internet, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), serving as a technical SME and blocking issue point. + Monitor network performance, implement QoS, and design high-availability solutions with redundancy and failover mechanisms. + Evaluate and deploy next-gen technologies, including cloud-managed networks, and drive adoption of standard methodologies. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, project objectives, and offer strategic mentorship throughout the project lifecycle. + Continuously assess existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose effective solutions. + Drive standardization, documentation, and automation across all network and cloud platforms. + Additional responsibilities as assigned. **Who You Are** + **What you’ll bring with you:** + 10+ years of experience supporting high performance production environments. + Deep expertise in WAN and routing topologies, datacenter switching architectures, firewall concepts, and traffic management technologies such as load balancing and ECMP. + Demonstrable experience designing and operating secure hybrid multi-cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure), including cloud connectivity models and infrastructure as code. + Strong programming skills in Python and experience with network automation frameworks. + Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible to manage network configurations at scale. + Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including Ethernet (10/40/100/400Gbps), OSPF, BGP, Spanning Tree variants, IPSec, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, LACP, IPv6, and TCP. + Hands-on experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco Catalyst and Nexus, Dell Force10, Arista, Citrix NetScaler, and F5 Big IP. + Expertise in traditional and next-generation firewalls, intrusion prevention systems using Cisco and Palo Alto Networks solutions. + Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds NPM/NCM, ExtraHop, AlgoSec, and NetBrain. + Experience developing cloud networking infrastructure including DNS, CDNs, load balancers, VPCs, subnets, and security groups. + Effective written and verbal communication and the ability to detail and share procedures for addressing issues effectively. + Solid understanding of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS). + Self-starter with the initiative to work independently and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision. + Experience in resolving issues across network, OS, and application layers. + Proven track record of leading incident response and root cause analysis across complex, distributed systems. + Familiarity with observability platforms, dashboard creation, and actionable alerting. + Ability to mentor junior team members and lead technical discussions. + Certifications from major cloud platforms, Cisco, and Palo Alto + Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as needed. + **Why you might stand out from other talent:** + Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, secure on-premise and cloud network environments. + Experience driving automation adoption across network and cloud environments. + Experience working in multi-product organizations. + Experience collaborating effectively with technology, security, and business partners on multi-functional projects. + Implemented innovative changes to improve operational efficiency through process optimization, automation, and standard methodology adoption. + Demonstrable knowledge of modern technologies, including AI and machine learning, to enhance IT operations and client engagement.
