Senior Network Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the technology team in Singapore.


In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in implementing network security policies across routers and firewallsManage production networks including Internet Protocol backbone, data centers and edge pops across the globeAdminister and support enterprise VoIP platforms and telephony infrastructureEnsure the continuous availability of all data network and voice servicesIdentify gaps, risks and issues and navigate organizational structure to resolve themPerform quarterly proactive network testing to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the networkInvestigate and remediate network capacity related issuesApply knowledge of security and regulatory policies to design and implement foolproof secured network solutionsProvide resolution information and work with other teams to complete impact analysisDeliver comprehensive and maintenance plans for change management review and approvalMentor and train network operations team in the installation, configuration, and maintenancePartner cross-functionally with other Product Infrastructure teams in order to continuously improve and apply standards and policies relevant to operational excellenceWeekend and after-hours support will be requiredSome international travel will be required


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

CCNA, CCNP, CCDP or CCIE is preferableStrong expertise in networking equipment and technologies, including switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, and VPN gatewaysIn-depth knowledge of network protocols, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, IPSec, MacSec and 802.1xProven experience with VoIP platforms and enterprise voice systems, especially CUCM, Ribbon SBC, Verint Verba recording systems, Verizon Virtual Contact Center, and Speakerbus TurretExperience in voice recording systems and compliance solutions for financial or regulated environmentsFamiliarity with cloud-based voice systems and SIP trunkingWorking knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languagesExperience with some form of ticketing system (ServiceNow)
