Description: Agile IT Synergy (AITS) is actively seeking a professional and talented Network Engineer with Federal Government experience. The successful candidate will help our customer solve network, application and system capacity/performance issues; plan, design, deploy, operate and optimize network infrastructure; perform network capacity planning and performance analysis using a variety of tools. You will also perform network design analysis/implementation, configuration validation, collect network and system performance, configuration information required for modeling and simulation studies while analyzing and understanding client’s IT requirements, organizational functions and decision-making process. Finally, you will present and articulate solutions developed to meet client requirements. The Network Engineer in this position needs to be able to work with many different kinds of people and be able to adapt to a lot of different situations. This position requires reasonable daily commute to the Tampa, FL area. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCES: + Must be a US Citizen with an active federal security clearance + CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) + DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 and/or CISSP Cert + Significant routing and switching, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, and network design experience on multiple vendor products + 3+ years’ experience of requirements analysis and sustainment deliverables. + 3+ years’ experience with network management solutions such as SNMP monitoring tools, configuration management and auditing etc. + 3+ years of virtual infrastructure management experience to include any one of the following: VMware, Hyper-V, and Rancher Government Systems. + 3+ years’ experience with DISA STIGs and best practice security controls driving applicability within fielded systems. + 3+ years’ experience maintain relationships ensuring equitable knowledge transfer from industry to community partners. + 3+ years’ experience creating and maintain documentation, diagrams, manuals in support of fielded or operational systems. + Basic understanding of Cloud architectures and overall implementation. Broad understanding of firewall traversal and port negotiations. + Basic understanding of automation frameworks like Python and Ansible playbooks. + Demonstrable systems engineering problem-solving skills using ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness. + Work closely with project managers and senior technical leads to ensure work meets client objectives. DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCES: + CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) + Knowledge of authentication technologies including LDAP, AD, PKI, RADIUS, TACACS. + Basic understanding of automation frameworks like Python and Ansible playbooks. + 10+ years of network, virtual infrastructure or cloud engineering experience preferred. + 5+ years of conducting hosting briefings, meetings, training sessions in support of mission requirements. + Riverbed, Palo Alto, Juniper, VMware, Rancher Government Systems, Aruba and Cisco experience desirable. + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience: Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering.
