Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Philadelphia, PA. Summary: The Senior Network Engineer plays a critical role in the design, implementation, documentation, and support of the Firm's IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects-from planning and design to deployment and ongoing operations. As a key member of the Technical Operations team, the Senior Network Engineer ensures the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Firm's core systems. Key Responsibilities: * Senior Network Engineer will lead the implementation and support of enterprise infrastructure, including LAN/WAN networks, unified communications, virtualization platforms, messaging systems, and disaster recovery solutions * Maintain deep technical expertise in the Firm's applications, protocols, and systems architecture * Participate in the planning, design, and execution of firm-wide IT initiatives, including vendor selection and service integration * Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure performance, cost-efficiency, and flexibility * Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance, security, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness * Provide Tier 3 technical support and serve as a subject matter expert for complex infrastructure issues * As a Senior Network Engineer, you will mentor and guide junior technical staff, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development * Contribute to operational planning, including system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance schedules * Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed * Operate in a hybrid work environment
