**Description** **SAIC** is looking for a **Senior Network Engineer.** **Job Description:** + Install, configure, and maintain scalable network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. + Design and implement secure network access solutions and managing security policy using Cisco ISE to meet organizational requirements. + Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure system availability and reliability. + Collaborate and partner with other IT platform teams to support and optimize network operations and engineering. + Implement and manage network security architecture including network security patching and upgrades, security baselines, compliance, and hardware and software maintenance. + Provide level 2/3 escalation support and troubleshooting to resolve ServiceNow incidents and tasks. **Qualifications** **Skills Required:** + Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking administration, information technology, or a similar field preferred. + 5 + years of experience in Enterprise Networking. + 2 + years of experience with Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS (Azure). + Strong understanding of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) administration. + Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN. + CCNA / CCNP / CCIE certification preferred. + Routing Platforms – Cisco ISR, ASR, CSR. + Switching Platforms - Cisco Catalyst & Nexus. + Knowledge of Network Security, VPN, ACL, DMVPN, IPSEC, NAC, MAB, DOT1X, and Encryption Standards. + Security Platforms – Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, ASA, Secure Firewall Management Center. + Knowledge of Azure Cloud Networking, Fundamentals, and Security best practices: Public (Azure) and Private (Kubernetes) Cloud Technologies. + Knowledge of Azure architectural principles and key networking services such as MS Azure VNET, VNET-Peering, Private Link, vWAN, Express Route, Firewall, Load Balancer. + Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM). + Advanced troubleshooting skills. + Ability to identify, deploy, and manage complex networking systems. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
