Hugo Boss is seeking an experienced Sr. Network Engineer to oversee and manage its corporate
network infrastructure. In this role the appropriate candidate will be responsible for a complex
network that spans across to different business locations including 400+ Retail point-of-sale, Head
Office and Distribution Centers located in the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil (NCSA region). The role
requires a candidate with hands-on knowledge on advanced networking, server, wireless and cloud
technologies to support diverse initiatives in our organization. Additionally, the ideal candidate
requires proficiency in network planning, configuration, security best practices and enterprise-level
solutions, as well as experience working with or collaborating closely with our external network
vendors and managed service providers. This role is based on-site out of our New York City office.
What you can expect:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
\n\nDesign, test, plan, implement and maintain our network & telecom VoIP infrastructure. Workwith external vendors, telecommunications carriers, and global network engineering staff.\nPerform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose complex network problems.\nUpgrade network hardware and software components as required. Evaluate network for
performance, scalability, manageability and security improvement opportunities.\nConfigure, test, install and support network hardware and software. This includes, but is not
limited to routers, switches, firewalls, cabling, wireless access points and controllers, intrusion
detection systems, load balancing, Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS)\nPlan, implement, monitor, configure and maintain a data network that consists of Routers,
switches, firewalls, Load balancers, SDWAN, Cloud Infrastructure (Azure), Wireless, Remote
Access, Voice\nCreate and maintain Internet Protocol (IP) address subnet and Virtual LAN (VLAN) allocation
and documentation.\nProvide direction to technical teams to document and design requirements for projects
impacting network infrastructure.\nProvide with recommendations to optimize the network operations and performance.\nDevelop configuration and implementation instructions for routine deployments and daily
tasks.\nAssist with planning, procurement, deploying, and maintaining Hugo Boss retail locations and
branch offices as necessary.\nPerform configuration of Cisco switching and routing platforms.\nPerform configuration of Fortigate firewalls and manage the Fortimanager console.\nRun configuration scripts for various networking equipment.\nTurn up small-scale network infrastructure at hub locations, with 4G LTE/5G connectivity,
including Cradlepoint routers.\nInstall, configure, troubleshoot and maintain small-scale network infrastructure at select Hugo
Boss retail locations\nPerform project management, communicate across teams, coordinate network management
activities as required.\nProvide Tier 3 support (expert problem remediation) for incidents and problems in designated
areas of expertise. Analyze and troubleshoot systems outages and/or degradation of service.\nConfigure equipment and services and support networks in various stages of deployment.
Audit and assess network against requirements and best practices. Formulate network
management strategies.\nHands on experience with networking services, protocols & technologies (BGP/OSPF, QoS,
Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (Entra), Network routing, switching, etc.).\nProvide network design solutions/options, both for ongoing operations, optimization, and
project-specific system initiatives.\nSelf-motivated, willing to work in a 24/7 retail environment without close supervision. Analytical

Your profile:
\n5+ years’ experience in similar network engineering roles (retail industry would be a plus)\nMinimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university\nCisco certification (any two) a MUST – CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/CCAr\nPrior knowledge working with Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA) and/or Fortinet FortiManager
management platform\nExtensive knowledge of enterprise level, Cisco based routers, switches and wireless controller
networks a MUST\nKnowledge of Fortinet FortiGate routers and security appliances\nExperience deploying Cradlepoint 4G/5G Wireless WAN Solutions\nAble to interface with internal customer and IT Management to communicate complex ideas
clearly\nDemonstrate advanced abilities to team and mentor and possess demonstrated excellence in
written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience leading or as chief architect in major IT network implementation efforts.\nDemonstrate a broad understanding of IT environmental issues and solutions and be a
recognized expert within the IT industry.

The expected base salary range for this position is from $140,000 - $145,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
