Job Description The EWINGS Senior Network Contractor II typically serves as the lead contractor for large-scale, multi-faceted negotiations specializing in large organizations, hospitals and hospital systems. These high-level resources can be utilized to leverage their existing facility relationships in order to quickly open a line of communication, introduce the plan, engage in meaningful contract conversations, and introduce and engage client leadership. These resources lead efforts for contracts involving non-standard arrangements that require a high level of negotiation skills, under the guidance and direction of the Project Manager and Client. Utilizing their local market experience, the Senior Network Contractor II may assist the Project Manager in the network development planning. Manage Contracting Processes
+ Within the provided data, identify potential providers by geographic and specialty needs.
+ Using supplied data, call providers, establish a relationship, and initiate a contracting discussion. May use client provided marketing materials as appropriate.
+ Send contracts to providers, negotiate rates within client provided negotiation zone, manage other terms of the agreement.
+ Evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with client contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls. Negotiate rates within the client's provided negotiation range.
+ Submit completed contracts. Ensure that all necessary documentation and information are included in the completed contract packets.
+ Follow up with colleagues and clients when necessary to keep a contract moving forward.
Capture Activities & Report In the prospect record, the network contractor will:
+ Enter detailed notes for every outreach that include the type of contact, a summary of the conversation/communications, and the date that the next outreach attempt is scheduled.
+ Capture and update the contract status as they flow through the process, per client tracking processes.
+ Notate which contract template(s) have been sent to the provider.
+ Update provider demographics as appropriate
+ Participate in project progress meetings to regularly report on their progress.
+ Generate additional reports as necessary for progress made on large systems and hospitals.
Provider Relations
+ Provide feedback from prospective and newly contracted providers to the client.
+ Perform problem analysis, identify solutions, and engage client stakeholders when necessary.
+ Inform provider of client's general credentialing process and requirements.
+ Escalate redlines when necessary.
+ Follow-up with client on redlines and other provider requests.
