Senior Network Cloud Specialist (Hybrid)

We're seeking someone to join our ENS Operations team as a Senior Network Cloud Specialist in Enterprise Network Services to deploy, and manage secure, scalable network solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform and DevOps best practices.

What you’ll do in the role:

Design and implement hybrid network architectures integrating on-premises and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) infrastructures.

Hands-on experience with Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar IaC tools for GCP resource automation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop implementation and migration strategies, ensuring minimal downtime and robust network security.

Perform scheduled network changes and migrations during weekends and outside normal business hours as required.

Document network designs, procedures, and post-implementation reports.

Provide reliable support, on-call escalation, and root cause analysis for critical network incidents.

Demonstrate strong accountability, ownership, and attention to detail in all assigned tasks and projects.

Flexibility to execute projects and changes on the weekends and outside of standard business hours.

What you’ll bring to the role:

4+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs (i.e., Cisco, Arista, or similar)

2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including infrastructure setup. In addition, AWS or Azure experience would be a plus.

Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build

Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

Deep knowledge and practical expertise in BGP, OSPF, and other dynamic routing protocols.

Proficiency with Wireshark for network packet analysis and troubleshooting.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Reliable, accountable, and available to work outside standard hours as project needs dictate.
