Join us on our journey to #ForeverCaring as a Senior Mould Engineer, and you’ll do the same. **About the role:** As our new Senior Mould Engineer, we can offer you a central role in an exciting company in constant growth, where you will collaborate across the organization and have a great influence on the projects and processes of which you are a part. **Your key duties and responsibilities:** + Participate during the early concept phase, to secure parts design for high volume manufacturing (material selection, tolerance, mold flow analysis, design features, tool design). + Create input to project management, regarding tooling: timelines, cost, volumes. + Assist the design team during, mechanical design, flow simulations, and robust design. + Develop and specify injection mould tooling, in close cooperation with our Design Engineers and suppliers. From early test tooling to multicavity tooling. + Occasional participation in e.g., product design changes, comprising moulding tool changes and upscaling + Transfer of moulds to Operations, in cooperation with the Advanced Operations moulding team. **Skills & Experience:** + Experience in high volume medical device Injection Moulding tools + Strong interest for DFM (Design For Manufacturing). + Knowledge of design control in accordance with EU ISO 13485 & US 21CFR820 - Quality Systems for Medical Devices. + Experience within CAD modelling, SolidWorks, Mould Flow analysis, Moldex 3D. + Knowledge within polymer materials, preferred. + Good written and verbal communication skills in English. **Qualifications/Education:** + At least +5 years of relevant experience as skilled tool designer/tool maker with a theoretical education within tool design. + Knowledge of Design Control in accordance with EU ISO 13485 & US 21CFR820 - Quality Systems for Medical Devices. **Working Conditions:** + This may be based in Osted with a hybrid working structure. **Travel Requirements:** + The position will involve travel up to 20% of the time, mostly within Europe but overseas travel is expected.
