Senior Monetization Strategy Manager

We are enabling merchants to offer the same Prime experience on their own direct to consumer websites that Amazon offers.
This Senior Monetization Strategy Manager will work closely with teams across Sales, Business, and Finance to recommend pricing and incentives for new complex fulfillment products globally. You will partner with sales and business development teams to interact directly with merchants to better understand their needs, and how we can improve their customer value and experience to grow their business.
Our ideal candidate has strong business acumen and judgment, high curiosity, excellent analytical abilities, superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. They will have a strong bias toward data driven decision making. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple projects, able to think big and be creative (while paying careful attention to details), and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Key job responsibilities
You will own pricing and incentives for strategic customers as well as developing new monetization practices/techniques by:
• Engaging with Customers, Sales, and Marketing to deeply understand the pricing related needs from strategic customers, while identifying and incorporating disruptive capabilities.
• Assessing business opportunities and communicating trade-offs with Sales and Finance to ensure we prioritize the most critical and impactful work.
• Managing end to end monetization process from start to finish including data gathering, price modeling, profitability analysis, and strategic positioning.
• Providing competitive and profitable pricing recommendations, and then managing the approval and implementation processes.
• Monitoring customer performance, and sharing insights and recommendations with sales and account management teams to drive continued business growth.
