Location: Prominent Hill, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)

In This Role You Will: Lead, mentor and develop a team of surveyors. Conduct regular time in field and Field Leadership activities to ensure critical controls are in place and effective. Review, develop and maintain safe and effective working practices and standards for the survey department. Ensure accurate and timely completion of survey requirements within the underground mine. Maintain survey control infrastructure and conduct necessary check traverses. Manage adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements related to mine surveying activities. Update and maintain mine plans for both internal and external regulatory use. Undertake incident investigations as required and implement actions leading to continuous improvement of the site’s safety performance. Manage survey inputs into the End Of Month reporting process. About You: Tertiary qualification in Surveying. SA Drivers Licence (or equivalent). Significant experience in underground mine surveying, demonstrating a strong understanding of underground mining methods and survey systems. A team-oriented mindset with the ability to integrate well into a collaborative team. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate survey activities and communicate with stakeholders. Passion for mine safety and the ability to be a safety leader. Experience with Deswik software (including MDM) and end-of-month processes and systems.
