Our client in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Senior Middleware Engineer for a contract to hire role. This role will require 2-3 days a week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, and maintain IBM MQ and IBM DataPower environments.Provide leadership and hands-on support during high-impact triage calls to resolve integration and infrastructure issues.Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to ensure optimal operation.Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to support middleware solutions.Automate routine administrative tasks and support CI/CD integration as needed.Ensure all middleware services are compliant with organizational standards and security protocols.Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in middleware administration, with IBM MQ and IBM DataPower experience.Experience and proficiency working in Linux-based environments.Demonstrated ability to lead triage and incident response efforts, especially involving complex integration and communication issues.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
