Senior Microbiologist

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with other scientists to perform specialized microbiological testing to develop Ecolab products and serve as a technical resource on issues related to biocide efficacy. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to work on collaborative projects across the many markets we serve. 
 What You'll Do: Perform antimicrobial product efficacy testing on disinfectants, sanitizers and other formulations. Provide antimicrobial solutions as a partner on R&D projects and contribute to the development of differentiated technology, products, processes, and/or systems Collect and analyze data, summarize findings in oral or written reports, and make recommendations for proceeding to project conclusions Assist with culture stock maintenance Assist with general laboratory and equipment maintenance Act as a GLP study analyst and/or GLP study director as directed Write, revise, and follow Standard Operating Procedures Support internal process improvement initiatives Represent Global Analytical and Microbiology in a competent and professional manner for customer tours and in other interactions inside and outside Ecolab Embrace Ecolab’s safety culture Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, or related technical discipline with 2 years of related microbiological lab experience OR Master's degree in microbiology, biology, or related technical discipline with 1 year of related microbiological lab experience Experience with efficacy testing supporting EPA antimicrobial claims Experience working under 40 CFR Part 160 or 21 CFR Part 58 regulations  Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a customer-oriented environment to effectively deliver testing needs Ability to innovate and think outside the box Strong attention to detail Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills 

 

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $72,700.00 - $109,100.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
