Senior Mfg. & Process Engineer - Industrial Engineer

Your role

The Run@Rate (R@R) protocol is essential for assessing Industrial System Performance through physical tests and shopfloor evaluations.

At Capgemini, we aim to oversee the implementation of R@R on evaluated industrial systems, ensuring that milestones are visible and risks are managed effectively to guarantee industrial performance and ramp-up.

This involves several key technical steps:

Baseline Establishment: Define initial performance metrics and conditions.

Test Execution: Conduct multiple runs under varied operational scenarios to gather data.

Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods to interpret test results, focusing on throughput rates, downtime occurrences, and quality output.

Risk Management: Identify potential bottlenecks and failure points, proposing mitigation strategies.

Continuous Monitoring: Implement real-time monitoring tools to track ongoing performance and ensure adherence to expected standards.

Metrics often include cycle time, defect rates, machine efficiency, and operator productivity. By following these detailed steps, R@R ensures a comprehensive evaluation of industrial systems, enhancing reliability and performance consistency.


Your skills and experience

• You hold a bachelors degree in industrial engineering,
• You have between 5-10 years experience in the manufacturing field implementing industrial engineering projects
• You demonstrate strong project management skills
• You have strong communication and interpersonal relations skills
• You demonstrate strong leadership skills
• You have a strong ability to manage your priorities and overcome setbacks
• Mastering the techniques of industrial engineering and the concepts of lean manufacturing are essential.
• You have a high level of initiative, are autonomous, innovator and practical
• Good knowledge of diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
• You have the ability to develop comprehensive industrial engineering strategies.
