As part of this commitment, reporting to the Vice President of Metallurgy & Processing, the purpose of the role is to support and assist the Group Technical Metallurgy & Processing team (Australia, South America, and Africa) in areas associated with processing and metallurgical disciplines that are applicable globally.
This is a hybrid position based in the Perth Office, with regular travel to site required, and is offered on a 5-day on, 2-day off schedule.

What will you do?
As a senior specialist, you will:
Develop and maintain Group-level processing-related safety processes, including critical risk identification, mitigation, and assurance. Support the delivery of high-quality results from process plant optimisation initiatives and projects Facilitate best practice identification and knowledge sharing across the business Establish plant performance visualisation tools and response processes Optimisation and standardisation in the management and use of IT systems, information, and data Provide management and support to operations with metallurgical training and development programs Develop, update, and support (including management and assurance) the group processing standards and guidelines.
