People who want to make a difference, come here for something different. https://www.bartleboglehegarty.com Overview We’re looking for a medical writer with promotional agency experience. Either midweight with 2+ years experience and looking to step up, or senior with 3+ years experience looking for a new challenge. This person should be comfortable working independently to create content for a (largely HCP) audience that should be as engaging as it is scientifically accurate. This means: Presenting and communicating - Directly to client and conversing with review teams to ensure work is approvable. You should have strong communication skills to relay key information back to the wider team. Collaborating - Liaising with the medical/creative teams and account handlers to ensure all content is expressed in the optimal way for the brief. Maintaining a high standard - In terms of consistency and style to ensure that our messaging remains on-brand, and providing editorial support as needed. Researching and understanding - Having a strong grasp of the science behind the brand, communicating that understanding internally to different departments, and of course, adeptly referencing the literature to support your content. Pitching - There may be some opportunity to get involved with future pitch work – researching therapy areas, playing an active role in internal discussions, and presenting. Supporting the growth of others - Overseeing the work of more junior Medical Writers to support their growth and development. Responsibilities Skills needed: Hold a Healthcare/Biological Sciences degree. Prior evidence of being lead writer on accounts (e.g. main person responsible for content on sales aid, website, objection handler). Outstanding attention to detail. Passion for storytelling within the world of science. Creatively minded with a good understanding of data visualisation and design. Fully trained in Veeva Vault Promomats. Bonus skills: Mentored or has a desire to mentor more junior writers. Knowledge/experience of the US market.
