Senior Medical Manager, Cardiovascular & Emerging Therapy Areas

The Position

In this newly created position, you will play a key role in the Business Unit that focuses on Cardiovascular & Emerging Therapy Areas. As part of the role, you will Collaborate closely with clinical, medical, and commercial colleagues in the field, business area (BA), and region to ensure strategic alignment and synergy as well as:

 

Plan and execute medical strategies and activities with a strong focus on omnichannel engagement (OCE). Identify and segment relevant Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), digital opinion leaders, and collaborate with patient advocacy groups (PAGs) where needed. Cascade and adapt medical plans, including publication plans and real-world evidence (RWE) plans. Liaise with relevant professional associations, including managing congress activities. Seek opportunities and provide advice to obtain market and patient pathway insights to support internal medical and commercial decision-making.

 

It’s a hybrid position where office presence in our Warsaw office would be anticipated 3 times per week. The role entails ca. 20% of travel activity as well.

 

Qualifications

 We’re searching for a curious & self-driven person who combines medical expertise with a commercial mindset. The person we are looking for has also strong communication and relationship building skills as well as openness to innovation.

The perfect fit for the role meets the following criteria:

Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) in a medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or a related field within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Relevant therapy area knowledge with a priority on geriatric indication expertise and experience (experience in cardiology or neurology is a plus). Proven experience in driving omnichannel activities and managing approval processes. Project-based activity and successfully delivering initiatives. Experience in multiple market regulatory environment is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment. Proficiency in English; additional languages, such as Polish, are a plus. Willingness to travel across the country and internationally.

 

About the Department

You will be part of the Business Area East, focusing on cardiovascular and emerging therapy areas. This role involves indirect matrix leadership of medical teams across BA East, ensuring functional and medical alignment. The department thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes.
