Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist
Performs laboratory testing and interprets test results using scientific knowledge and principles of test procedures and disease processes; recommends contingency testing. Directly responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing daily technical operations, including staff training and education, implementation of instrumentation, and accreditation readiness.Job DescriptionResponsible for the immediate supervision, training, and competency assessment of laboratory staff and students in a 24/7 environment. Ensures accurate orders for proficiency surveys and accurate submission of survey data. Collections PI data, conducts analysis and documents progress. Maintains current policies and procedures in the department and ensures completion of electronic documents according to established assignments and timelines. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility.Bachelor Degree in Biology/Chemical Science or Medical TechnologyCertification eligible applicants with American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT) may be considered with proof of eligibility prior to date of employment.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$29.21 - $48.68. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
