CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Medical Affairs Communications - Oncology opening for our client in Whippany, NJ. Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid Remote) Duration: Permanent Placement Duties: The Senior Manager, Medical Affairs Communications – Oncology supports the execution of medical communication strategies and ensures the effective collection, preparation, and dissemination of accurate medical and scientific information related to the oncology portfolio. This role supports cross-functional initiatives and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to ensure scientific alignment and medical integrity. • Support the implementation of medical communications strategies for assigned oncology products, including the preparation of scientifically accurate content for external and internal use. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal to review and help ensure scientific accuracy and medical appropriateness of promotional and non-promotional materials. • Assist in the development of materials and scientific resources for internal stakeholders, such as the Sales Force, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and Medical Information teams. • Help analyze and summarize key medical information metrics to support Medical Affairs planning and execution activities. • Participate in the review of medical inquiries and trends, providing insights and assisting in the preparation of reports to inform key stakeholders across the organization. • Assist in the development of training materials to support team training activities to ensure accurate, clear medical information. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal Medical Affairs team members and cross-functional partners to support the consistent delivery of medical information. Skills: • Strong knowledge of medical communications and information dissemination in oncology. • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure scientific and medical integrity. • Proficiency in preparing scientifically accurate content for both internal and external use. • Analytical skills to evaluate medical information metrics and trends. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to translate complex medical concepts for varied audiences. Experience: • 1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. • Prior experience in a formal drug information center or equivalent clinical/medical information setting. • Experience in Medical review within the MLR/PRC process required. • Understanding of FDA regulations related to drug promotion and compliant dissemination of scientific and product information. Education: • Advanced degree in a healthcare discipline (PharmD, MD, PhD). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
