MAU is hiring a Senior Electronics Control Engineer for our client Rolls-Royce in Novi, MI. As a Senior Electronics Control Engineer, you will lead integration, requirements definition, and certification for safety-critical aerospace control systems in a highly regulated environment. This is a contract, short-term assignment with potential for direct hire.
Shift Information Hybrid schedule: 2 days remote, 3 days in-office Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience, or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience Ability to obtain a security clearance Preferred Education and Experience Experience with gas turbine systems Background in requirements definition and systems integration Experience with system certification of regulated products Hands-on experience developing safety-critical software General Requirements Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders Advanced problem-solving capabilities Experience reviewing and approving technical documentation for compliance and completeness Essential Functions Collaborate with internal teams and customers to develop safety documentation, including: System Safety and Reliability Assessments Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA) Fault Tree Analyses (FTA) Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) Common Cause Analyses (CCA) Partner with cross-functional teams to uphold high technical, quality, and professional standards Provide engineering guidance, process training, and support for technical documentation Prepare, review, and approve engineering deliverables for accuracy and compliance Apply advanced engineering knowledge to solve complex challenges Communicate technical ideas effectively across departments and with customers
