Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

To support one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and elaborating technical concepts, as well as designing new products and systems. You will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines and actively contribute to the entire development process, from idea to delivery.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Developing technical concepts and creating designs for new products and systems. Guiding the design process from prototype to series production. Collaborating with fellow engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders within the development team. Supporting the testing and validation of prototypes, both internally and at clients. Identifying and implementing improvements during the product lifecycle. Participating in technical meetings and contributing to strategic product development. Ensuring accurate technical documentation and monitoring specifications and quality requirements.

Who are we looking for?

You have a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field. At least 5 years of relevant experience in designing complex mechanical systems. Experience with 3D CAD software (such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar). You are analytical, creative, and have an eye for detail. You have strong communication skills and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams. Good command of both Dutch and English.
