Job Description
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Manage Raw Materials Planning in accordance to S&OP Forecast & firm orders from customers. Optimize the raw materials inventory holding by having weekly rescheduling (Pull In / Push Out) to meet the production loading or to accommodate for demand fluctuation.
Release POs to suppliers based on suppliers' lead time and transit time. Share the rolling forecast to suppliers to enable capacity planning.
Monitor suppliers delivery commitment and evaluate their delivery performance.
Handling raw material replenishment and expediting as needed.
Managing the transition of raw materials, formulate the phase-in & phase-out effectively to avoid disruption of production loading as well as materialize the cost saving of newly phased-in raw materials within the targeted date.
Partnering with internal stakeholders (QA, Warehouse, NPI & Engineering) to drive the depletion of the slow moving and aging stocks.
Engaging in Continuous Improvement Initiatives within Supply Chain Planning.
To promptly work with Global Procurement for solutions on suppliers' decommitment and alternative source / materials to mitigate the supply chain risk.
Meeting the KPI of Cost Saving & Accuracy of Inventory Forecasting for Raw Materials.
Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
Bachelor's Degree in any field.
Min. 3 years of related working experience in Direct Material Purchase for the manufacturing industry.
Advance Planning & Analytical Skills.
Excellent in communication and managing stakeholders' expectations.
Strong negotiation skill and result orientated.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet and Oracle Fusion would be an advantage.
