Job Description:
The Senior Master Scheduler provides strategic leadership for the planning, development, and management of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across complex FAA programs. This role ensures schedules are fully integrated across all teams and subcontractors, aligned with program objectives, and support decision-making, risk management, and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of program-level IMS, ensuring alignment with program WBS, milestones, and contractual requirements.
Provide strategic oversight of scheduling across multiple teams, sites, and subcontractors, identifying risks and critical paths.
Collaborate with program leadership, engineering, and functional teams to ensure schedule integration, realism, and accuracy.
Advise FAA stakeholders and executive leadership on schedule status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Ensure schedules support Earned Value Management (EVM), program performance metrics, and reporting requirements.
Mentor and guide junior schedulers, establishing best practices and maintaining schedule quality standards.
Lead schedule analysis in support of program reviews (PDR, CDR, SRR, TRR) and other milestone events.
Ensure compliance with FAA program reporting requirements and contractual deliverables (CDRLs, milestones).
Required Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in scheduling or program management on FAA, aerospace, or defense programs.
Expertise in Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS), Earned Value Management (EVM), and critical path analysis.
Advanced proficiency with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of FAA NAS programs, aviation systems development, and regulatory requirements.
Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence program decisions.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience leading schedules for multi-site, multi-contractor programs.
Ability to provide actionable strategic insights from schedule analysis.
Experience mentoring junior staff and establishing scheduling best practices
