Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Senior Marketing Specialist. The Senior Marketing Specialist is a key member of the marketing team, responsible for supporting demand generation, developing marketing campaigns, executing online marketing strategies, and improving lead generation for new business, brand building, customer retention and cross-selling. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency through hands-on execution of marketing initiatives, implementing customer engagement strategies that deliver measurable results, maximizing marketing’s contribution to revenue through tactical campaign delivery.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demand Generation:

Ideate, develop, and lead demand generation marketing programs for both existing and new initiativesExecute multi-touch, multi-channel marketing campaignsConduct post-program analysis to review results against objectives, including lead volume and cost-per-lead

Content Development:

Manage content development and write messaging that supports marketing campaigns. Coordinate layout of content through multiple channels including website, email, and printAssess needs and work with security industry and subject-matter experts to create content that resonates with various audiences. Write creative briefs prior to any creative developmentContent will include eBooks, white papers, website content, emails, blog posts, newsletters, webinars, sales collateral, PowerPoint sales presentations and advertisements

Online Marketing:

Design and execute content marketing practices across digital platformsResearch the latest trends in digital marketing and analyze competitors to maintain a robust idea libraryCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, web, and sales enablement, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field of studyMinimum of three (3) years of marketing experienceExperience developing and/or managing brand building, thought leadership and lead generation content for a wide range of media channels: Website, email, events and sponsorships, public relations/publicity, trade shows, social media, collateral, advertising (digital and offline), direct mail, webinars, video, white papers, etc.Minimum of one (1) year of corporate marketing department experience including lead generation and content marketingStrong writing skills with attention to detail and solid proofreading abilitiesStrong expertise in demand generation strategies, website content layout, data analysis, and report writingDriven and self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills and poise; ability to work well with executives, team members, and customersAbility to assemble a creative brief, prioritize tasks, and manage projects through to completionStrong proficiency in communication (written and verbal), well organized, able to multi-taskAbility to adapt to new situations, processes, and directionsProficient computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Experience with marketing automation tools (like Marketo), CRM tools (like Salesforce), project management tools (like Wrike)B2B focused marketing

BENEFITS:

Salary: 70,000 - $80,000 per year Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceEnrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirementsEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
