Job DescriptionThe Senior Marketing Manager provides clear direction and mentorship to marketing professionals and agency partners, fostering collaboration, creativity and accountability.
The Senior Marketing Manager ensures that the team is aligned with business goals, equipped with the right resources and empowered to deliver impactful campaigns that elevate the brand and drive commercial success. Effective team management, including workload balancing, performance coaching and professional development, is central to this role’s success.
Responsibilities Oversee the planning, development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and full-funnel campaigns across all channels including digital, print, media, PR, promotions and on-property activationsEnsure all marketing initiatives align with brand guidelines, seasonal programming, sales objectives and revenue goalsLead campaign calendar planning in collaboration with Sales, Revenue Management and F&B teamsEvaluate marketing mix performance and adjust strategy based on data, business needs and industry trendsDirect the creative process, including message development, design reviews and brand storytelling across platformsRepresent the property voice in all marketing efforts, from advertising and social content to collateral and experiential activationsCollaborate with the PR and Content team on photography, influencer engagement and brand partnershipsDefine KPIs, monitor performance, analyze data to extract insights, and maintain reporting dashboards to communicate results and inform strategy adjustments to internal stakeholders and leadershipRegularly analyze data to identify trends, challenges, opportunities and translate insights into actionable strategiesProvide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to Marketing team members and agency partners, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous learningPartner with the Director of Sales & Marketing on department budget oversight, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and on-targetServe as the central marketing lead for key initiatives involving Sales, Events, Food & Beverage, Spa and other departmentsSupport hotel activations and external marketing opportunities, including community partnerships, media engagements, and special events as neededLead internal marketing meetings and facilitate clear communication and collaboration among all stakeholdersRepresent the hotel in external-facing opportunities including community partnerships, media appointments and destination initiativesCollaborate closely with agency partners to ensure digital campaigns deliver on KPIs and remain within budget and contribute to cost effective marketing spend Serve as an in-house expert on digital trends, platform updates and targeting advancementsCollaborate closely with hotel and corporate leadership on key initiatives, providing project management, strategic input, and ongoing oversight to ensure successful execution Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising or related fieldMinimum of 5-years of progressive marketing experience, including strategic campaign planning and multi-channel oversightStrong understanding of digital, traditional, and experiential marketing channelsCertified or demonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), with experience using analytics tools to drive decision-makingProficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for visual content creationExperience planning, launching and optimizing paid campaigns on platforms such as Meta and Google AdsProven ability to analyze campaign data, extract insights and translate findings into strategic actionsStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to present ideas and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesHighly organized with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExperience in hospitality or travel marketing is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Demonstrated success managing budgets, creative teams, and agency relationshipsExperience managing or mentoring direct reports or dotted-line contributorsProven leadership and team-building skills with a collaborative, proactive approachAbility to influence across multiple departments and stakeholder groups*This position is not bonus eligible*
