Senior Marketing Manager, Amazon Ads Marketing Adapt

We are seeking an all-around marketing athlete to step into a variety of different roles when Amazon Ads marketers take extended leaves. This function will make an impact across the Ads org and will enable the right marketer to hone different skills and get broad exposure across Amazon Ads. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded general marketer, with experience across multiple disciplines including brand, channel, performance, content, executive engagement, events, training, and/or product marketing, who can provide both strategic and tactical support. The right candidate is excited to step into new spaces and solve hard problems across the business, navigating confidently through ambiguity. We are looking for someone who adapts quickly to new roles, demonstrates resilience, and embodies a growth mindset with changing direction. This is a highly visible role that will work across all marketing teams globally. This role will gain insight into marketing strategy across diverse programs and will be a connective fiber between teams. This role will have direct access to leaders across brand, demand generation, sales, and product teams, and can grow across multiple disciplines in a uniquely multi-functional space. Key job responsibilities • Work in high-visibility roles to solve marketing and business needs. • Dive deep and make an impact on various marketing programs with different managers, customers, goals, deliverables, and durations. • Embrace ambiguity, independently charting a path forward, making judgement calls with imperfect information. • Proficient in managing the content creation process (ideation, production, distribution) and ability to create compelling, customer obsessed marketing content (case studies, video, blog posts). • Build strong, cross functional relationships with insights, sales, product, other marketing functions, PR, and legal. Basic Qualifications - 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience communicating results to senior leadership - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs - Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages Preferred Qualifications - Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners - Someone who is curious, driven, and embraces challenges with a growth mindset. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
