The Customer Advocacy Team plays a critical role in bringing these connections to life. As the Senior Marketer, Customer Advocacy, you will own and evolve the recruitment and engagement strategies for HubSpot’s upmarket advocacy program, Lighthouse. You’ll design how we attract, onboard, and energize members, ensuring they gain meaningful value while amplifying HubSpot’s customer proof to fuel launches, campaigns, and flagship moments like Spotlight and INBOUND.

This is a unique opportunity for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll combine AI-powered recruitment and community engagement to build a world-class advocate experience—while partnering closely with our customer storytellers to fuel the Lighthouse advocacy flywheel.

In This Role, You’ll Get To Own & evolve the Lighthouse recruitment and engagement strategy, aligning member growth with HubSpot’s upmarket priorities Build an AI-powered recruitment engine, leveraging Looker, HubSpot CRM, and other tools to identify and validate advocates at scale Partner closely with our customer storytellers to co-develop membership criteria and amplify advocate-driven proof across marketing, sales, and brand channels Lead the beta-to-proof process, ensuring Lighthouse advocates generate early validation and stories that power product launches, campaigns, and events like INBOUND Design and deliver engaging program experiences—including The Signal newsletter, roundtables, webinars, and workshops—that inspire and connect advocates Facilitate opportunities for advocates—such as feedback sessions, speaking engagements, and content collaborations—by partnering with cross-functional teams Mentor and coach junior team members, empowering them to scale their impact Establish and report on KPIs that demonstrate Lighthouse’s contribution to customer retention, expansion, and pipeline, and continuously improve through experimentation and AI-powered insights What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in customer success, customer advocacy, customer marketing, and/or community programs, with proven success designing and scaling customer-focused initiatives AI enthusiast and practitioner with experience using AI to drive customer recruitment and/or engagement at scale Strategic community builder who can connect leaders across industries and foster meaningful relationships Skilled at developing engaging program offerings (events, newsletters, roundtables, workshops) Data-driven operator with proficiency in Looker, CRM platforms, and analytics Strong collaborator who influences and aligns cross-functional stakeholders Confident communicator with executive presence, able to elevate advocates as thought leaders Growth mindset, with a passion for experimentation and continuous improvement



Cash compensation range: 92000-138000 USD Annually

Pay & Benefits

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range:$92,000—$138,000 USD
