As a Senior Market Data Analyst in the IT sector at National Bank, you’ll be a key contributor in managing and optimizing market data services and vendor relationships. With your analytical mindset and experience in environments such as Bloomberg EMRS, LSEG Refinitiv products, and market data management platforms like INFOmatch, you will help improve operational efficiency, cost control, and the quality of data available to internal stakeholders. You will also play a strategic role in ensuring data compliance, supporting trading and investment teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of data governance practices.

Your Role:

Manage the administration and optimization of market data services and subscriptions. Conduct cost analyses and usage reviews to identify savings opportunities. Ensure compliance with vendor license agreements and internal policies. Support internal teams by providing guidance on data access and usage rights. Identify opportunities to streamline data usage and improve vendor management. Participate in contract negotiations and renewals with market data providers. Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Capital Markets teams to align data services with business needs. Maintain an accurate inventory of data services and access rights using internal tools.

Prerequisites:

Relevant combination of education and professional experience. Experience in market data management, vendor relations, or financial services. Knowledge of market data platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, or FactSet. Familiarity with market data inventory tools (e.g., INFOmatch, MDSL, TRG, or FITS) is an asset. Practical knowledge of JIRA, payment and contract management systems (e.g., ARIBA), and collaboration and knowledge management tools (e.g., Confluence and SharePoint). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 tools is required. Languages: English, French Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
