There is a 1st shift and 3rd shift hourly position available in Sanford, NC. The starting hourly rate for this position is $27.20/hour (+ 8% Shift Premium for 3rd Shift).

1st Shift Schedule - Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

3rd Shift Schedule - Monday-Thursday 7:30 PM - 5:30 AM

Overtime as business needs require

Job Description: 

The Torque Analyst is responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of DC electric torque tools, manual click wrenches, and battery powered torque tools used in the Sanford assembly process.  

Job duties also include the following:

Maintaining an inventory of back-up tools and components

Procurement of replacement parts

Communication with tooling suppliers, Engineering, and Manufacturing Planning regarding tool requirements and technical issues

Testing of alternate tools and processes

Cross-functional communication

Providing periodic status summaries

Overtime and weekend work are often required to meet deadlines and ensure that the production line is ready for operation.  Working on scissor lift platforms at elevated heights may also be required.

Qualifications

 Basic Qualifications: 

Experience in a technical role in manufacturing

 Top candidates will also have: 

Education, training, and/or experience in a technical field requiring advanced mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and computer networking expertise

Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) in Microsoft Excel

Test & Adjust or Reprocessing experience

Troubleshooting experience

Experience reading / using engineering drawings and specifications

Experience with torque tool applications

Proficiency with torque requirements

Experience and proficiency in the collection and analysis of technical data

Experience with scissor lifts or similar equipment

Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as requested

Ability to maintain composure and work effectively under pressure

Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
