Collaborate with other multi-disciplinary teams to maintain a functional relationship to co-develop and structure future requirements. Maintain documentation and communication of goals, risks, status, and prioritized feature requests and bugs. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world. + Provide engineering in both process development and mechanical fixture designs to product manufacturing to production, including working with agreement manufacturers and vendors to prioritize and solve problems. + Demonstrate expertise in design for manufacture ability (DFM) and influence Product Design to improve manufacture ability for yield, cost, and reliability. + Collaborate with Product Design engineers to ensure excellent design for manufacturing. + Interface cross-functionally with design and commodity teams in down-selection, sourcing, qualification, and integration of components and vendors used in Google’s products. + Work with Quality and Reliability teams to define requirements for shipment.
