Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join the Fabrication BPS Core Integration Team based in Auburn, WA. Successful candidates will be required to travel within the Puget Sound area twice per month on a rotating basis.

This role is essential for driving excellence in our manufacturing processes. Position Responsibilities:

Supports the implementation strategy for Line Side Control Centers (LSCCs) across 21 Manufacturing Business Units (MBUs) in the Fabrication Division

Delivers training and support for the implementation of common strategy for LSCC’s within MBUs, conducting genbas (Go, See, Learn) assess business impact and adjust strategies as necessary

Analyzes Key Performance Indicators for LSCC infrastructure development and sustainment to quickly address production constraints, ensuring a stable and predictable production environment

Conducts assessments of LSCC processes and practices, providing feedback for improvement

Analyzes and interprets data from the Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) system for defect trend analysis and drives closure on gaps in the production system

Facilitates and leads multi-level team meetings focused on team standardization, sharing best practices, process improvements, and training development and revision

Visits Fabrication LSCC’s in Puget Sound on a rotating basis to provide support, training, and mentoring while building relationships with stakeholders and customers

Provides monthly LSCC Scorecard reports to Boeing Production System (BPS) senior leadership for program leadership roll up

Facilitates and leads complex group work sessions using advanced Lean principles and tools to implement the BPS for internal or external customers

Conducts assessments of processes and practices, providing feedback for improvement and comparing them to applicable standards and criteria

Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk

Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives

Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Auburn, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment

5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and multiple levels of leadership

Experience using Microsoft Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years’ experience achieving planned business goals and objectives and improvement activities utilizing one Boeing Production System (BPS) or Lean Manufacturing principles and processes

Experience with leading and influencing cross-functional teams

Experience with coaching, guiding and leading teams

Experience in a role that requires effective interpersonal communication skills that supports collaboration of team members

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $106,200 - $129,800
