Position Summary
As the Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Energizer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the Manufacturing Engineering function within the entity, driving operational excellence and innovation encompassing a wide range of areas. You will lead and support the development of platform technologies that will have significant impact on the competitiveness of Energizer and the success of new product initiatives with regard to performance, manufacturability, and competitiveness.
Responsibilities
Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives in Manufacturing Engineering to optimize operational efficiency, foster innovation, and drive impactful change within the organizationExemplify Energizer’s core capabilities to achieve service excellence, surpass organizational objectives, and uphold fiscal responsibilityEstablish goals, drive performance, cultivate competencies, acknowledge achievements, and promote employee engagement and well-beingManage all Product & Process lean techniques, ensuring the maintainability of production tools through the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and associated skillsContinuous improvement will be a key focus, particularly concerning line architectures, capacities, capabilities, and time referentials (DMAIC/PDCA)Identify medium- and long-term improvements using a lean diagnosis approach, and collaborate with the team to manage the retrofit and renewal of production means for sustained growthDefine the organizational structure necessary for new projects or adjustments in production volume to optimize costsLead the research, justification, design, acquisition, and seamless implementation of cutting-edge equipment for diverse applications in battery production, actively driving technological advancements and operational excellence through innovationExercise both hierarchical and functional responsibilities for diverse teams that may vary in technology and business focusLead planning and managing the Capital budgets and projects throughout the facilityStrategically recommend innovative technical solutions to overcome challenges in developing new products and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellenceLead continuous improvement actions for the siteIdentify potential medium- and long-term improvements using lean diagnosis approachCollect, organize and analyze data from a variety of sources, make conclusions and recommendations and provide regular progress reports on projectsMaintain a current awareness of new technology and developments relevant to areas of specialtyEnsure the performance of industrial processes, including but not limited to DT (Downtime), IE (Industrial Engineering), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and TTP (Total Productive Maintenance)Use oral and written communication skills to update management, peers and team members of progress and findingsParticipate in cross-functional teams and interface effectively with other functional areas to progress programsWork with inside and outside resources to develop ideas and designs, procure materials and refine systems involving process improvements, technology enhancements, and ergonomic improvementsSupervise and train others to perform relevant work and perform administrative tasks associated with job function
What we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in EngineeringMinimum of 10+ years of rewarding and impactful experience in leading manufacturing operations inclusively Experience in a large multi-product and multi-step processes manufacturing environment Proven track record of results-oriented management and leadership achievements in driving operational excellenceExpertise in applying Lean Manufacturing methodologies to drive operational efficiencyDemonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot production processes effectively, while maintaining clear and concise communication with the team
Preferred Skills and Experience
Master's DegreeLean Six Sigma or other certifications3-5 years of high-speed automated assembly equipment experience or equivalent experienceExperience with simulation tools for process designKnowledge of ergonomics in manufacturing settingsFamiliarity with capacity planning and investment strategiesCome join us!

Total Rewards Package
The salary range for this position is USD $126,000.00/Yr. - USD $181,000.00/Yr.
Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
