Your Role:

MilliporeSigma is growing at the Danvers site and is looking to add a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to our team! In this role, you will:

Lead projects that support Assembly and Material Handling operations, collaborating closely with engineering, technicians, quality, and operations teams.Proactively develop and enhance manufacturing processes to drive efficiency and productivity.Address production floor issues by collaborating with operators and applying Root Cause Analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to implement effective solutions that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.Work from various technical documents, ensuring compliance with ISO-9001:2015 and cGMP standards.Lead process and equipment validations, including the creation and modification of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training team members as needed.Support company policies, goals, and objectives while demonstrating initiative and independence.

 

Who You Are

 

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Biomedical or related discipline and 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a life science or biotechnology setting, ORHigh School Diploma or GED with 12+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in a life science or biotechnology setting.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a commercial medical, biotechnology, or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Proven problem-solving skills, particularly in root cause analysis and the application of Lean and Six sigma methodologies.Lean and Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and a proactive, positive approach to work.Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting established deadlines.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.Strong communicator, both written and verbal.Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and cGMP.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

 

Pay Range for this position: $115,800-173,600

 

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
