Stryker is seeking to hire a Senior Engineer, Manufacturing/Operations to support the manufacturing of Neurovascular products in Salt Lake City, Utah.
What you will do:
Define & implement specific solutions to technical problems, completing the tasks associated with such projects and writing reports that clearly document the results
Validation work including writing and executing validations
Resolve in-house and supplier quality problems using established problem-solving methodologies
Participate in the development and improvement of the manufacturing process for existing and new products
Review & approve inspection plans, routers and product drawings
Facilitate quality remediation, gap closure through partnership with cell Quality Engineers
Support initiating and closure of non-conformance and corrective and action preventative actions
Support projects, bringing in capital equipment for new manufacturing lines and upgrades to existing lines
Work cross functionally with teams for projects and initiatives including lean manufacturing, added capacity and new product launches
Provide technical support for quality control, process improvement, cost savings, process development projects, new product launches, equipment qualifications, and process validations
Operate within Stryker’s quality system to produce documentation such as, inspection plans, equipment maintenance logs and standard operating procedures
Support continuous improvement efforts by performing time studies, value stream analysis, flow analysis and other lean related tasks
Make proposals/recommendations in support of the team to help achieve team goals in quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale
Periodically work with vendors
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a production/manufacturing environment required
Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred
Previous manufacturing Co-Op experience- preferred
Experience in regulated manufacturing environment- preferred
