Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Electric Motors Department. This role involves collaborating with project management to support installations, new launches, and special/capital projects. You will be responsible for executing engineering strategies and overseeing new product launches, as well as developing priorities and objectives in cooperation with each site management team. Continuous improvements throughout the plant are a key focus of this position.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project management to support installations, new launches, and special/capital projects.Execute engineering strategies and oversee new product launches.Develop priorities and objectives in cooperation with each site management team and oversee their implementation.Drive continuous improvements throughout the plant.Utilize Solidworks and CAD software for design and engineering tasks.Essential Skills5+ years of manufacturing experience.Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.Proficiency in Solidworks.Experience in automotive manufacturing engineering.PLC programming skills.Robotics troubleshooting capabilities.Strong project management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in process improvement.Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.Familiarity with HMI and Allen-Bradley PLCs.Experience with tooling and machining.Work Environment

The role operates primarily on the 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility based on project needs. The work environment is a cleanroom setting with some non-temperature-controlled areas. Expect to spend 80% of your time on the manufacturing floor and 20% in the office. This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and walk over 10,000 steps daily in a large plant. Steel-toed boots are mandatory on the manufacturing floor. The role may involve working 40 to 50 hours per week to support new product launches and up to 5% domestic and international travel as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $43.27/hr.
