Key Accountabilities
Process Development & Optimization
Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Technical Support
Provide day-to-day support to production teams by troubleshooting process-related issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
Continuous Improvement
Lead or participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives to drive process improvements and eliminate waste.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Support the transition of new products from R&D to production, including process validation and documentation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
Documentation & Compliance
Develop and maintain accurate process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and control plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and project execution.
Safety & Environmental Responsibility
Ensure all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations and actively participate in risk assessments and hazard analysis.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
Train operators and technicians on new processes and best practices to ensure consistent execution and understanding.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment (entry-level roles may accept internships or co-op experience).Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Python).Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, DOE, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis.Understanding of manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP, MES) and production workflows.Knowledge of PLC, robot, AI applications.Knowledge of test tools such as LabVIEW.Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.Certifications (Preferred but not required):
