Work Responsibilities

Preparation and review of Tax returnsReporting of Information returnsPreparation/ review of Tax provisionsComplex reconciliations of accounts/ creditsResponsible for Tax computationsThorough analysis of Group company transactionsTax related Documentation, maintain organized and up-to-date records of Tax transactionsEnsuring Ledger scrutiny, analysing Trial balanceEnsuring the books of accounts are updated and reconciled as per statutory returnsData managementHandling Tax officer queries, audits, and assessmentsAssistance in tax audits and Statutory auditsEnhancement of control environmentKey risks identification, prioritization, monitoring and remediationContribute to an environment where people and technology thrive togetherAssistance in process improvement, automation etcDiscussing critical issues with partners and ensuring proper implementation of decisions taken

Adhoc Tasks

Should be able to manage adhoc requests in timely mannerDeal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situationProviding updates to executives/ leadersCollaborating cross functional teamsPerform other services as assigned

Experience

In-depth knowledge of above-mentioned responsibilitiesChartered Accountant with 11-13 years of post-qualification working experience in Corporate Tax functionPractical experience of working in TaxThorough understanding of financial statements and group company transactionsExperience in International Taxation is preferred

Skills

Team player, excellent collaboration skillsAbility to work in high pressure situations.Good communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, working experience in SAP
