Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Supplier Quality Audit
In this role, you’ll part of Supplier Quality Audit team, to ensure that the direct supplier base achieves and maintains appropriate levels of quality compliance via auditing.
Responsibilities
• To develop and maintain appropriate direct purchasing procedures for the client, in line with corporate requirements, all applicable laws, regulations and standards.
• To ensure that the direct supplier base achieves and maintains appropriate levels of quality compliance via auditing, performance evaluations and complaint follow up.
• To ensure that client Purchasing team members develop and maintain an appropriate level of quality awareness and performance.
• Safeguard Risk Management and Compliance
• Support and lead of all audits (supplier audits, DQS audits, IATF audits,..)
• Member of PRO Excellence Team (including management review).
• Define and implement supplier quality performance indicators and ensure periodical reporting of actual performance against these indicators.
• Represent Purchasing and follow up related to internal and external (third party, customer) quality audits.
• Maintain the Approved Vendor List and ensure validity of supporting documentation.
• Initiate regular review on supplier segmentation and ensure the related systems are updated accordingly.
• Define year plans for supplier audits and supplier performance evaluations, seek approval for it and implement and manage the execution of these plans and take corrective actions to achieve the results.
• Plan, execute and follow up on supplier quality audits; approve audit and close-out reports.
• Develop and maintain a proper supplier complaint handling management system.
• Ensure that the organization learns from deviations and that deficiencies found during internal and external audits are translated into corrective actions, monitor the execution of the corrective actions and escalate to the appropriate management level, if and where required.
• Be the quality interface between Purchasing and Suppliers and between Purchasing and other internal departments.
• Set up and maintain the relevant network with external stakeholders and represent Purchasing towards external parties on quality topics and issues.
• Stay abreast of both internal and external developments with regard to quality related laws, regulations and requirements and all other quality related matters.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate / Post Graduate
• Proficient in German Language
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Must have confirmed experience in handling significant projects.
• Able to work, at times, multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Report writing and presentation skills, an analytical mind, and problem solving abilities.
• Position requires the ability to work efficient with all levels of staff and balance confidential information discretely and authoritatively.
• Able to react to deadlines with flexibility and integrity.
• Good PC skills, including Word, Excel, Visio.
• Excellent communication and relationship building
