Job DescriptionAs our business continues its ambitious growth trajectory, there is a strategic aim to build out a significant licence footprint in order to enable the local collection capability and direct connection to local payment schemes. The Global Licencing programme is as a critical initaitive of the money movement strategic objectives. The Senior Manager position will be a key role ensuring the success of this programme. This role is essential in ensuring that the cross-functional groups deliver the required ‘get to operational’ tasks required for assigned jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
Build End-to-End Processes Required to Deliver Capabilities via New Licences:
Use high-level assessments of end-to-end project requirements to identify most efficient path to delivery.
Use industry best practices to drive delivery.
Analyse organisational data to pinpoint structural and operational obstacles hindering delivery.
Maintain and update detailed execution roadmaps with clear timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones for each assigned jurisdiction.
Strategic Execution:
Support the strategic execution of go-live initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organisation's long-term vision and goals.
Support the implementation of medium to large-scale projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes through influential leadership.
Liaison/Control Point:
Act as the key liaison within the strategic team regarding specific licence expansion jurisdiction(s).
Serve as a check and control point for the assigned jurisdiction(s) delivery.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between product, network, compliance, legal, revenue and operations teams to avoid duplication of effort, identify gaps, and ensure adherence to governance standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements, maintaining the highest standards of control and governance.
Influence, Engagement and Leadership:
Motivate teams to address critical challenges and drive deliverables.
Create a collaborative and high-performance environment for the various teams to do well in.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide regular, transparent updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
QualificationsExperience in banking, payments, money movement, and executing growth in regulated entities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of deliveryExceptional project management abilities, with experience in developing and executing initiatives using MS Project / Planner.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and rallying teams across various functions.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.Strong influencing and execution skills, with the ability to energize teams to achieve ambitious goals and address root causes of inefficiencies.Demonstrated understanding of the upstream and downstream implications of operational decisions.Articulate and agile in leading multiple threads of complex problems.Proven ability to build new capabilities and act as a change agent.Experienced and credible in building valuable relationships across all roles and levels within a highly matrixed environment.
