Senior Manager Statistical Analyst

The Strategy & Transformation Team within Schwab’s Client Service & Support organization is responsible for developing and orchestrating high impact service strategies designed to enhance the client and employee experience. 

As a Senior Statistical Analyst on our team, you will be responsible for using data to generate insights that paint a compelling picture enabling senior leadership to make informed business decisions. You will work closely with a team of strategists, product owners, and analysts who contribute to the delivery of a best-in-class service experience.  With your data driven recommendations, you will influence a wide stakeholder audience to deliver a more positive outcome.

Passionate about leveraging data and analytics to identify solutions for complex business problemsDistilling large amounts of information into a succinct “so-what”Collaborating with a diverse stakeholder ecosystem to understand business needsWorking with a cross functional group of stakeholders to deliver insights in a fast-paced and ever evolving environmentLeaving no stone unturned when analyzing a problemValidating hypothesis through analysis and telling a compelling story for senior leadershipProactively identifying yet to be discovered opportunities through dataInfluencing without authorityStructuring a complex business problem into a succinct analytical approachWhat you have
3+ years of work experience in analytics, data science, or strategy (consulting experience a plus)Superior qualitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detailDemonstrated success supporting delivery for concurrent projects.Demonstrated success developing junior resources.High proficiency with data management and manipulation with SQL, Python, and Teradata; bonus if you have Google Cloud and unstructured data experience.High Proficiency with MS Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)Proven experience querying both structured and unstructured datasetsExperience working with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or quantitative fields such as Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, EngineeringProven ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audienceAbility to leverage data to paint a compelling argument for driving long term business resultsConfidence dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast paced work environmentProficiency with R, SAS a plus
