About the Role:

The Revenue Margin Growth Manager will play a critical role in shaping the pricing strategies for our brands. This role will focus on optimizing revenue and profitability by evaluating regional brand strength variances, identifying white space opportunities, contextualizing consumption data, and effectively building stories that demonstrate benefit of strategy change to the region, enterprise, the customer, and the consumer. The role requires a blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to develop and implement effective pricing strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of brand pricing strategies applying core Revenue Management principles: Brand Portfolio Pricing: Define brand positioning based on relative share, brand equity, and growth potential by region, clarify brand roles based on demand spaces and consumer-centric insights. Pack & Price Architecture: Highlight key price corridors within the category and pack white space opportunities via benchmarking and consumer willingness-to-pay. Define pack roles (entry, core, trade-up) by consumption occasions in adherence to the broader brand position and logical price ladders & incentives across pack sizes. Mix Management: Establish SKU scoring based on strategic fit, contribution to organizational revenue and margin goals, pack size relevance, and operational efficiency. Promotional Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional strategies aligned with organizational goals (increased penetration, frequency of purchase, key period demand capture) at the most effective cost. Distill complex data from multiple sources (Nielsen and IRI consumption, panel, elasticity, internal, non-conventional) into concise, actionable insights and communicate strategic recommendations effectively to various stakeholders, including senior leadership. Provide key inputs into innovation process including total addressable market & opportunity sizing, price point white space, optimal price positioning within the internal & external segment landscape, and expected margin delivery for prospective NPI propositions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, acting as critical connection point between brand, sales, analytics, and finance teams to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives. Identify long-term strategic price points to optimize revenue, volume, and profit delivery across different channels and geographies. Embed Revenue Margin Growth mindset & evangelize best practices across the organization, influencing key stakeholders to focus on fact-based decision making.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics required. Functional expertise: 5+ years of related commercial, revenue management (traditional CPG Brand revenue management or revenue management within the BevAlc/three-tier system), finance experience with demonstration of analytic and data-driven decision making. Experience with syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI), panel data, and modeled elasticity data. Strong understanding of fundamental pricing topics, including price elasticity analysis, historical and forecasted promotional performance evaluation, internal & external price positioning analyses. Direct or indirect experience in data modelling with strong understanding of methodologies, strengths, and shortcomings. Strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and challenges, ability to produce deliverables in the face of multiple or incomplete data sources, and ability to balance micro level insights with macro level implications Proven storytelling ability and experience translating complex outputs into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Experience in change management, organizational process building, and navigation of ambiguity.
